World Zombie Day in NYC with the Living Dead Girlz – October 26th! Live Zombie Theater combines elements of dance, music and gore to bring out the dead!
Sunday, October 26th - The NYC Zombie Crawl is hosting World Zombie Day in NYC with the Living Dead Girlz (featuring Shannon Lark, Fangoria’s 2009 Official Spooksmodel), who are coming out from San Francisco specifically for the event! The NYC events are one of over 50 cities around the world that will be taking part in World Zombie Day on the same day!
The ghoulish fun starts with the NYC Zombie Crawl at 2pm, ALL AGES and FREE in the Union Square Area (Location TBA). There will be a meet and greet with the Living Dead Girlz at the first stop. Zombies are invited to gather while Civilians can become undead with the help of our Zombie Makeup Technicians. About 4pm the zombies will gather for a group photo shoot in Union Square, and then the crawl will head out and travel throughout the Lower East Side to several locations including Washington Square Park and more. www.nyczombiecrawl.com ). The Zombie Hoards will eventually make their way down to the Knitting Factory for a huge zombie show with the Living Dead Girlz at the Knitting Factory at 8pm! Starring the Living Dead Girlz; Goreriffic Zombie Dance Troupe from San Francisco! The Living Dead Girlz are technically “dance splatter theater,” incorporating complex choreography created to display a moral story within their shows. The LDG uses tongue n’ cheek attitude, specializing in commercial jazz, sock hop, cha cha, chairdancing, and tango/waltz. With a late night Strip for Pain: America’s Most Dangerous Gameshow with the girls of Burning Angel.com! Male contestants pit their libido against their pain threshold as they are subjugated by three vivacious dancers who "make with the stripping". As the contestants take more pain, the girls, beautiful strippers and adult film performers, take off their clothes. It's a wonderland for sadio-masochists as well as voyeurs!
Featuring Disgraceland Hook Squad – Flesh Hook Body Suspensions and Mayhem! The DHS crew is committed to presenting modern day flesh suspension in the rawest most primal way they possibly can.
