sleazily entertaining kidnapper movie starring the late great Johnny Cash as the bad guy. he also does the movies theme song and strums a guitar to his hapless captive audience, a justifiably upset middle eaged lady in her nightgown, while killing time waiting for a phone call. If you've seen "lady in a Cage" it's similar to that but with a smaller budget and not quite as good. But It's pretty clever in places and is largely unpretentious. The woman doesn't get into johnny cash's feelings about life or weigh in on the way society is changing or anything. Cash 's acting is solid but he isn't all that believable as this particular villain. "critics choice collectors edition" yeah right. I enjoyed it and if you are a johhny Cash fan it's an obvious must see. extra is an appearence on some variety show skit with cowboys singing and sitting by a campfire and so forth.
