54.) M.A.S.K. toys

I became obsessed with these toys in the mid 80's.  The only problem was that they were so darn expensive.

52) Did anyone else used to have "Manta Force" toys??

I remember those. Does anyone recall the related "Zero Hour" sets of little army men and vehicles from round about the same time? They seem to be the only toy soldiers ever to have 'mohawk' hairstyles and docker-style beanie hats!

no.57 - Playmobil - the best toy line ever!

A childhood friend had a lot of the pirate Playmobil toys, including the pirate ship and cannons.  We would play with those for hours.  Thinking back, I bet his mother got tired of stepping over us through the whole house.  We would have camps, bases, lost temples, and so on in every room in the house.

We did much the same with the Lego knights, which makes sense because those and the Playmobil figs are similar.

I was more of a fan of the Knights and Western ones. My room floor was pretty much the same though with little walls, rails and horses!

27) Ghostbusters gear

Notice CC's avatar and the picture have the same smile. I think they're both really HIM. . .

Sadly, I too had this outfit.  And the Proton Pack, the goggles, the trap, etc, etc.  The action figures, the fire house, everything.

59.) Power Rangers

I was a huge fan of this show during it's first 5-6 years or so, before it went downhill and decided to change the cast/title/costumes, etc. every year.  I had, and still do have, all the action figures, "Megazords" like the one pictured above, weapons, morphers, etc.  Nerdy, sure, but it was a good show.  I liked the zords, as they reminded me of Transformers.  Different things like a Triceratops transforming into a leg, good stuff.

48.) Cabbage Patch Kids

Yeah they are gooey with sweetness but you can't deny the hell they raised.  That and they inspired Garbage Pail Kids.  Thumbup

I missed Ash's nomination of this earlier in the thread.  I wish to replace it with;

48.) Star Wars Toys
Small | Large

I don't think it has been mentioned but if it has, I will find something else to post in it's place.  TeddyR

By the way, we're on #60 fo the next nomination.

61.) Balsa Planes

I used to buy a lot of these at the corner stores.  They were cool until you realized how weak balsa wood was.
