SHOWGIRLS doesn't roll that way.  It makes STRIPTEASE lick it's boots, and makes it bark like a dog while doing so.

Got to disagree with you on that one.  Striptease was made as an actual comedy. Showgirls was made completely with a straight face but wound up being one of the most unintentionally funny movies ever.

Showgirls is awful in a good way for many reasons.  I think the number one for me is Berkley's laughable way over the top performance.

Definitely.  She's one of the worst actresses.  Like on Saved by the Bell with her whole 'caffeine pill' addiction. 

Showgirls is just a complete hot mess of a movie, that I just love to sit down and watch.  Even bought myself a dvd copy.  Striptease is a movie I liked, but not enough to warrant a purchase on dvd.

To each their own.  I mean, there are people out there that bought the 'box set' of Showgirls, which came with a few "pasty" things for nipples, shot glasses, rules for a drinking game, etc.  I didn't get all that.

I saw it in VHS back in the days when you couldn't just download the naughty bits. Hated every minute of it. Yes, I'm aware it's sort of a comedy, but it's painfully unfunny.  Hatred

Haven't seen any movie featuring Demi Moore since then, save for the occasional TV showing of "G.I. Jane" (which also sucks big time, but is still a hell better than this) and "Mr. Brooks", in which she doesn't appear enough to ruin it.
