Its hard to believe the 90s, if they indeed follow the current trends of other decades, may be become retro in the next few years.  Although I wasn't fond of a ton of music during that time, I fell in love with several albums (most I still have in heavy rotation on my Ipod) and bands of the time.

While walking to and from classes in college, it simply didn't feel right without my headphones on.  Here are some of my favs that I spun (and still spin) the hell out of, feel free to share yours.

White Zombie - La Sexorcisto Devil Music Vol 1

B-movie influenced mixed with hard rock you can dance to...I found perfection in this band.

Alice In Chains - Facelift

I've always loved AIC.  I think Layne and Jerry had one of the best vocal harmonies in rock.

NIN-Broken

Although it didn't have a lot of tracks, pretty much every song was a kick in the nuts.

Pantera - Vulgar Display Of Power

They had quite and attitude on this CD and I liked it.

Stone Temple Pilots - Core

Ok fine, maybe not everyone digs this band.  I LOVE this album.  Not really for the popular tracks but rather much of the lesser heard ones.

Korn - Self Titled

Although this band got progressively much worse as time went on IMHO, I've always thought this album rocked.

The Crow Soundtrack

I love the mix of bands on this album.  All with original songs too.

Ok, I'm done reliving my college soundtrack for now...your turn...

One Fierce Beer Coaster by Bloodhound Gang.  Funny 'alt rap/rock' album.  I like all their stuff, but this was good.

The Slim Shady LP by Eminem.  A great major label debut by a talented songwriter, in my opinion.  Just a sample of what was to come.

Bad Hair Day by "Weird Al" Yankovic.  Not only was it my first true taste of his music, but it made me look up some novelty music of old, like Spike Jones, Tom Lehrer, Cheech and Chong, and so forth.

Dirt by Alice in Chains.  Their best album, in my opinion, and probably the best 'grunge' album altogether.
