So, I have no idea how I found this, I'm guessing I linked to it from a game website somewhere, but it was so bizarre I decided to bookmark it.
Basically, from what I understand, you're touring a long abandoned hospital. The pictures are based on real pictures (I presume) that the author took, but they're been altered in various ways. In each room, there's something weird, funny, or surreal going on for you to find. For instance, in one room, there's several slates of wood paneling exposed on the floor, and the individual slats are being pushed down, each making a musical note like a piano!
In another room, in the center of the picture is a broken window. You scroll to the left, and then an image will appear of the outside, but, in a sudden flash, you see SOMETHING (a body?) fall through the air. It happens so fast you barely catch it.
Not really sure if there's an overall "point" to the game, one thing you can do is look around for a tiny icon of a camera, click on it and you'll get a view of the original, unaltered picture, although in most of the rooms I couldn't find the icon anywhere...
It's an interesting place to check out, but what, to me, makes it really strange is the whole site seems to be self contained. That is, once you click on the flash part to enter the hospital, there's no links outside the website (and maybe that's intentional). Only in the very first page can you find a link to the author's website (a web designer and graphic artist). Dunno if there's any "secrets" to be found in the "game" if you click on all the cameras, or additional rooms that'll open up if you go through everything.
Anyway, if you want to visit, you can go to
http://hospital.apoka.com/You can also check out the fellow's website here
http://www.apoka.com/APOKAeng.html, although this too has very little personal information about the author. Get the feeling he's one of those "private" types...
