Messing With The Kids' Heads

My wife got me a box of metal puzzles today. She had hoped I would find them difficult to solve cause they gave her some problems. So you can guess how she felt when I was able to solve them in about a minute. Yet the real fun began when my kids got home from school. They had never seen a metal puzzle before and figured if I could solve them easy then it should be easy for them as well. Well after about an hour they gave up on them. They tried everything including trying to figure out how to bend the stainless steel puzzles to separate the two pieces of each puzzle. After giving up I quickly separated each puzzle and set them out on a desk. All my kids did was grumble at me cause even then they could not figure it out. Ahh the joys of messing with my kids heads.
