There I am in 1971, four years old, playing with my dog Rusty on the lawn of my folks' home in Gwelo, Rhodesia (now Gweru, Zimbabwe). Growing up there - even during a civil war - was good and life (despite international sanctions against my country) wasn't bad: we wanted for nothing.

I wish I could post the pic here: it's amazing that this picture is 45 years old and I'm sure that most of you would say "Who's that kid?"  Smile
