This is another one of his reviews I feel he missed the point of the movie. Yes, stupid unbelievable stuff is happening, but that's the point. It's making fun of the action movie cliches.
In fact, there's a number of knowing winks... Like deliberate continuity errors.
Last Action Hero is quite flawed though - in particular, I agree with the NC that the film has far too little action for a film with that in the title.
But, at times, it is clever and funny. I was entertained.
