I have to agree that show is rather messed up. I happen to see it at a doctor's office and asked my wife what it was. She didn't know either but we both agreed that we were creeped out by seeing a dancing sex toy on a kids show.

I have watched Yo Gabba Gabba several times with my oldest and simply can't figure out what the value of the show is aside a few obvious life lessons like "don't bite your friends".

Bigfoot and Wildboy anybody?

Love the "wooka-chicka" guitar line in the intro.

Action League Now! Thumbup

Kablam! was great. I used to watch that over my kid's shoulder. I always loved the "Action League Now" segments and the ones with the alien teaching the caveman.

Have to agree with the mention of "The Prisoner" here. That was a strange, strange show. And the finale was perhaps the strangest thing of all. Nobody understands it. Probably not even star Patrick McGoohan, who wrote the thing.

But if we're going to reach back to the 60s, this has to be one of the weirder sitcom ideas:

The Pitts.

A show about a family with the worst luck on Earth.  Possessions, demons, werewolves, vampires, imps, trolls, aliens and everything else got hurled at these folks.  Brainless fun that was killed about three episodes in.

The lady who played the mom died shortly after the series was shot.  A shame because she was a plucky actress and quite fetching in a mousy way.

The clip won't show here, but this is the link to the opening titles.

 Lookingup

That show was so bad I couldn't tell if it was on purpose or not.
