There was a movie i heard about in the 90s that i wanted to see but could never get the title.  I remember a friend telling one description.  the killer would enter the home of his victim naked but would paint his body to match the wall like camouflage and stand near the wall.  like if the wall was made of red brick, he would paint his body in a red brick pattern then at the right moment jump out at the victim.  That's the only clue i have.

I haven't seen it, but there's a movie that involves a killer blending in with the wallpaper called "When a Stranger Calls Back". It gets asked about on the IMDb message board often, but, as I say, I can't confirm that's it.
