Yeah Hogan is supposed to be in TNA in a GM type role and Bret "The Hitman" Hart is also scheduled to be on WWE RAW this MONDAY!! The Bret appearance is a lot more surprising and shocking to me.

I'm really excited about the Bret appearance.  I've heard rumors of it possibly leading to a series of appearances leading up to WrestleMania in April or so.  Dunno, but that gets me more excited than Hogan bringing in the Nasty Boys to TNA.

TNA, as terrible as their shows often are, do have one thing going for them: unpredictability. WWE has become extremely predictable and bland. If TNA can just bring something new and unexpected, something surprising to the table, maybe they'll edge away some of WWE's audience over time.

I think part of the reason TNA has unpredictablility is cause there's like, 18 different people trying to run it.  Bischoff, Hogan, Jarrett, Dixie Carter, the board of Directors, and then the writers like Vince Russo and Ed Ferrara.

WWE may have like, 7 writers, but overall they answer to two people: Stephanie McMahon and Vince McMahon.  But, I give them their due.  When they face competition, they're not afraid to go to the trenches.  I do applaud that they've kinda given "newer' wrestlers a chance to shine: Sheamus, Kofi Kingston, Ted DiBiase Jr.  Problem though, is they're not giving them a chance to develop their characters or speak their own promos.  Their big business boom of '97-'01 was cause they allowed guys like The Rock, Stone Cold, Mick Foley, Undertaker and HHH, amongst others, develop their characters and promos.  And they allowed them to do more than 3 and a half moves per match.

I stopped watching wrestling a little bit before The Rock came around.. and I haven't really been able to get into it since, it was just too much like a soap opera.  However, I think I'm going to give TNA a try now cuz some of my favs are there now!!

TNA's move to Monday Nights opposite Raw was an abysmal failure for them. They were destroyed by WWE in the ratings. I really wish TNA could do better and could prove a suitable alternative for those who'd like a little something different from the WWE style of predictable short TV matches. TNA has the talent to really give us some great matches from lower card talent free on TV but TNA too seems to limit the amount of time guys get for matches and most of them are too rushed and too spot-fest oriented.

TNA has the chance to survive for a good while, as long as they keep their expectations low and stop trying to copy WWE or "Challenge" them on Monday nights.  Stick to Thursday nights, and let the guys in the ring do their thing without time limits and all that.  Just let em wrestle, and give em storylines without a LOT of talking.

It's hard to watch WWE now.
I prefer TNA but they really need to relax all the swerves and crazy story lines.Just watched the TNA/ECW PPV it was very decent I must say.

TNA hit a new low on Sunday (10/10/10) when Hogan/Bischoff took over TNA. It fails now. Thumbdown
