I just bought this with some of my Christmas money.  I bought Dragon Warrior I & II and Megaman: Willy's Revenge for my Game Boy.

I got ASSASSIN'S CREED II (X-Box 360) for Christmas, but I've only had time to play it for about 20 minutes so far.

Picked this up for the PS2:

Never played a Final Fantasy game before, but I've been looking for a new PS2 game, so I figured I'd give it a shot.

Got this for the PS3:

It was only $13.74 at Amazon, how could I pass it up?  I'm getting a bit burned out on racing games, thought I'd try something different.

Whoa, what was marketing THINKING?  They've got the title obscuring Lara Crofts boobs, I bet that hurt sales for sure!

WHOA!  Someone made a brand NEW NES game?  That just blows my mind, and yet, I wonder why it took so long (that is, for someone to actually do this.)

Looks pretty awesome (although I can't help but think it bears more than a passing resemblance to Mega Man, but that's probably intentional).

Course, I don't have a working NES machine to even play this one...

:)

It takes inspiration largely from Mega Man, Metroid-style games, and especially I Wanna Be The Guy (itself an exaggeration of Nintendo-hard platformers).

Here's a clip of I Wanna Be The Guy.  You might notice the similarity in the look of the lead character.  Well, except for the video's quality.

I played more Battle Kid.  Beat the fourth boss, which means I'm something like halfway through the game.  By my estimate, I've played it for 4-5 hours.

You know, I haven't bought any new games in quite awhile, but with my computer being upgraded, I'm finally able to play The Elder Scrolls IV Oblivion without it locking up.  I've been obsessed with that game lately, playing it with the Oblivion Overhaul and some other mods going.

I love the game a lot, but sometimes certain things in the character AI produced some interesting WTF moments.  For instance, in one town I was walking down the street and saw a woman lying DEAD right in the middle of the road and NO ONE seemed to pay any attention to it.  I dunno how it happened, but no one seemed to care.  But, Heaven forbid, if MY character stabs someone, the town guard and God who else shows up to fight me.
