Crossroads(not Britney Spears)

Hello, I'd like to see if there are more people who have seen Crossroads(1986) with the same kid as in Karate Kid. It's a cool film, but it sucks. And, to those of you who've made this site: Include 1986's version of the guitar movie Crossroads as a bad movie!

I was onto the guitar school thing around that time and it was a big deal because Steve Vai was in it.  It's the same basic plot as the Karate Kid

I found it kinda lumpy -- the supernatural bits were so divorced from the rest of the movie, they seemed like they were from a different script.  But the Ry Cooder soundtrack rocked mightily, and the guy who played Satan was perfect.

Who took notice of the acting and script anyway?????   Blah!!!!!!!
I thought the music was the grouse.  Best soundtrack from a movie.
The duet duel at the end, WICKED.  A lot of other people must like that part too, 'cause every copy I borrow, has the guitalr duel worn out.

The grouse? I like that.  I had a friend who used to say The People.  Like "Those brownies look like the People"  Steve Vai played both parts of the duel, Ry Cooder did the spooky blues business.
