Children's Halloween Movie I cant remember the name

My little sister remembers this movie that came on around Halloween every year when she was little. All she can remember is that there was a witch, frankenstien, and a vampire. She remembers that there were kids locked in a castle. And that the witch, frankenstien and the vampire were in the castle at the top of the stairs trying to get into a big door. She thinks it was on the Disney channel. It is driving her nuts!!!!!!!! Does anyone remember this movie at all????

Welcome to the board kissi! Would the movie you're thinking of perhaps be The Halloween That Almost Wasn't? It debuted on TV in 1979 and I think it was one of those annual "Wonderful World of Disney" Halloween specials like Mister Boogedy and Bride of Boogedy.

It might be the Monster Squad - it had Dracula, Frankenstein & the Wolf Man in and was a kids film.

I wonder if this the Halloween special I was going to ask about.
Is it animated?
Does it include a song that mentions"spooky Halloween".?
