...somehow that doesn't quite make sense.

You know what I mean?  Ever see a movie where a child is supposed to be imagining things, but one or two things happen which simply are IMPOSSIBLE without outside help?  As one example, IIRC, in Cloak & Dagger the lead kid's imaginary friend spy guy breaks in to some building and throws an object to him.

Another classical non-movie example (though it is arguable about the reality of the universe) is a Calvin & Hobbes strip, where Hobbes ties Calvin up in a way even his dad can't understand how he did alone.

Basically, I'm talking about a movie that shows what is clearly meant to be just in the child's imagination, but somehow this imagining had a real life consequence that is otherwise impossible.

I know I've seen this happen a few times in movies, but I can't think of another example off the top of my head.  Anyone?

Forgot about the movie Cloak and Dagger.  Man, I haven't seen that in years!  Kind of want to watch it again, now.

Pan's Labyrinth had a moment which doesn't make sense if it was all meant to be in her imagination: She used the chalk that creates doorways to escape from the room she is locked in.
