Do you ever say to yourself "oh man, why did I rent ____?" I say that every night!!
Anyway, despite the fact that this is very PG and stars the "I'm a pepper you're a pepper" / makin it guy DAvid Naughton, Joe izuzu and Vanna White it's pretty good! SOme poeople say it has the same plot as Mannequin, but where are those people when you're down and out? Naughton is kind of annoying, like he feels irritated to be even in the movie, though he is well cast and believable as a hairdresser. Little Richard is one of the other hairdressers, he's not very good but it's Little Richard anyway. Vanna White is great! She plays the goddess Venus who zeus turns into a statue as a punishment and the statue gets left outside this bar and the guy for some reason puts his fiancee (amanda bearse!!) ring on it and brings it to life. This seems to have been made for tv and is pretty light but pretty fun too. If you like 80's comedies check it out. It doesn't have any nudity but Vanna looks great in the " I dream of Jeannie" ish role she was born to play.
