Indy, hope things work out well for your daughter.

It's 7:36 am and just having a cup of coffee to get myself going. Got a lot of things to do today.

3:31 p.m.: Sitting here shivering. Man it's friggin' cold outside. MY car unfortunately has started to make weird rattling noises and I know I'm soon going to have to shell out for new brake pads.

Is it just me or do others find with the newest version of Doctor Who, it's like they're moving further and further away from the traditional Doctor and turning him more in some type of eccentric kooky alien superhero? Matt Smith does seem too young for the role too. Of course it could grow on me yet as I eventually came to like David Tennant although I still like Christopher Eccleston best of the new Doctors. Still the old cheesy, fun Sci-Fi/Horror style storytelling of Doctor Who sadly does seem to have become a thing of the past. They seem to have modernized the Doctor to appeal to the masses and I'm not sure it's in a good way.

As to what I'm doing, well I'm getting set to soon go up and put on some supper.

4:09 am

On here, trying to wind down so I can grab a few hours of sleep before I have to get up to give a sick horse her next dose of meds at 8.  (The same horse is the reason I am still up at this hour.  Bluesad )

Calculating the rate of caffeine + sugar + ibuprofen intake that will be optimal for feeling human for the best portion of the day.  And wishing  I was the type who can nap.

I'm wandering around my apartment after lugging home and putting together a shelving unit to store all the crap (DVDs, Blu-rays, games, music, etc.) I've bought over the last year. These meds are helping me but they make me VERY randy and they make me want to go out and talk to people. I'd go to the bar/restaurant just a couple of blocks up the road, but 1. I'm trying to save money so I can get a car, 2. The combination of being very outgoing AND horny on this medication makes me leery of going as I know I would target women to talk to, and, even if I don't intend to bring them home, I'm not doing that to my girlfriend, and 3. I don't like their bartenders very much, which is a big turn off.

So I'm sitting here just trying to be very, very cool about everything, and hope the urges fade. Worse comes to worse, I'll have a couple of small drinks and that will make me sleepy.
