'Bout ready to try to eat this 15 bean soup I made.  Took 3 hours to cook, and I think just looking at it is giving me gas.

UPDATE:  It wasn't quite worth the wait.  Maybe I should've cooked it with a ham hock like the directions suggested.  Oh well, it's edible.

Brewing a second cup of coffee because the cat is complaining I did not leave him enough from the first one.  Lookingup  I really must stop conversing with the animals.

My cat, Dixie,  loves Cold Cuts.  Have to share the ham and turkey with her.  Tuna fish too. She comes running when she hears the can opener.

Mine loves cookies, olives (but won't touch the pimentos), chicken, tuna, and his favorite is probably corn on the cob.  Not just the corn, but the husks as well.  Toss 'em in the trash can and you will hear a bang later on as it's tipped over for investigation   TeddyR

BounceGiggle  We have one that loves cucumber skins.  The same cat will also bypass meat scraps in order to steal pieces of broccoli. Raw or cooked: it does not matter.  He's a bit...odd.
Ours gather when they see us reach for the knife block: if anyone is trimming meat or preparing sandwiches they are beseiged!  We have never fed them canned food, but for some reason the hand-operated can opener is a big attractant too.  (Maybe cans squeal as they are cut open and only cat hearing can detect it?)

Sounds like our cat, Marble.  When turkey or any other kind of meat is cooked, Marble will come running out, get on her hind legs and stretch out as far as possible to reach the roasting pan.   Eyes as wide as saucers, meowing in that inquisitive tone that says, "can I have some?"  BounceGiggle

I swear she would do backflips onto the counter if she could, lol  Sometimes I'll get her going by waving a piece in front of her. That really gets her going.

And then I'll reward her floor show with a nice big piece and we all live happily ever after (more or less)  Smile      I love my cat!

Wishing I hadn't read this:

http://www.imdb.com/board/bd0000024/nest/188157437

I actually thought it was about period horror films.
What with it being a horror board.

Silly me.

Just checking in right now.  Finally got home from vacation.  I'd have stayed longer but I had absolutely no money and a paycheck waiting for me at work.   Bluesad

But, I'm off Tuesday and Thursday so it's okay.

And, I just now see I have a whopping 237 e-mails accumulated in the six days I was gone. Buggedout
