Sadly. Who knows where he'd have gone had the incident not happened. He was quite successful though and a damn fine wrestler too, and while never the "TOP" champion, accomplished quite a lot, tag titles, Intercontinental belt, etc. |

Owen just never had that necessary "it" factor IMO and he never seemed serious enough. Steamboat, just caught a bit of his Wrestlemania III match against Randy Savage and it again reminded me that Steamboat is perhaps wrestling's all-time best babyface wrestler.

I always liked Owen because he was a good technical wrestler but also had a great sense of humor. It was sad to see him go, especially in the horrible way he did.
