Whats up everybody? I'm a film student from Halifax Canada and here's a short I did for a contest. It was definitely inspired by senseless bad 80's B-Action.

Opinions wanted! Pass it along!

WOW looks much better then half the crap that Troma distributes...  Cheers

suggestions??? The short does look good but since this is a contest it best to pull out all the stops.

Add a cgi smoke effect from the back of the bazooka after shooting.

Maybe an open shirt or shirtless scene with the bazooka (likely towards the end of the clip)... I'll be good (or funnier) if Chips MacTavish's body isnt built although if he's built you should exploit it.

Maybe the girl in the car can hug or holding Chip's leg with a smoking hot bazooka.

Maybe a cgi effict of the bazooka growing.

Try to drag the short almost 2 minutes... :)

I'll try to think more...

Thanks for the input, specific feedback is great!

I'm trying to get this short seen by as many people outside of Canada as I can. Any and all help in sharing the video is hugely appreciated.

Thanks again!

I wish you best of luck with the school project, though your short is good its not good enough for anybody to rave about. You need to go the extra mile (maybe even reedit your clip as a new.)

Here are some shorts (trailers) worth raving about...

I know it's nothing to really write home about, but it's a start. I'm a firm believer that in order to be worth a damn when you're good, you have to suck publicly first. Hence why I'd like as many views as possible.  Smile Gotta start somewhere!
