Nightmare Fuel is what it is, stuff that'll keep you awake at night or give you nightmares.  High Octane stuff are things that while REALLY scare the living hell out of you and you'll pretty much be unable to sleep because of it.  For better explainations, check out these articles:

So, let's get straight to it.  What do you consider N.F. and H.O.N.F. to you?  As in, what stuff scares the living crap out of you and what stuff really scares you.  Please refer to any media, from movies to comics.

For Nightmare Fuel, the Child Play series and The Drifting Classroom provide excellent scares and chills for me.  Chucky and well... tons of the students in T.D.C. can really terrify me a lot.

However, my High Octane Nightmare Fuel is Uzumaki and that certain short story from Gyo...  If you have read any of that stuff... you know why that really scares me.  Want an example?  Feel free to click the link below!

So, what's your nightmare fuel?

We live in quite an interesting age. You can tell someone's sexual orientation and level of education from just their interests.

I always thought nightmare fuel as stuff you were afraid of as a kid so I'd say probably the Blod I was afraid of that movie as a kid. As for high Octane John Carpenter's THE THING gives me nightmares every time I watch it.

Now If you want a lot of High Octane Nightmare Fuel

John Carpenter's The Thing is the only movie I've ever seen that can still give me nightmares, even though I've seen it many times and am in my 30s now.  I reckon it to be High Octane Nightmare Fuel.

Nightmare Fuel: Mothra. When I was little, my uncle had me all but convinced it was living in our cross space. I guess thats why I became a power rangers fan when I was older.

High Octane Nightmare Fuel: The entirety of Combat Shock.
