Ah, kid shows.  They were (and or are if you still watch them  Wink ) fun and great to watch.  However, the shows always seem to have great, memorable, and or catchy songs that you can still remember to this day and probably could sing them.  I'm sure we all know a lot of them, so why not name some of your favorites?

Here's a few examples of some catchy tunes you may or may not have heard.

We live in quite an interesting age. You can tell someone's sexual orientation and level of education from just their interests.

I still do the Pinky and the Brain "Brainstem song" in my head.
and in the 70's Captain Kangaroo has Simon, a stick kid who did drawings that came alive, I still remeber that theme song.

Ed, thanks to you I just spent the last four hours with the Pinky and the Brain theme song running in my head.  Continuously.  Shoot me now, please!

Also:
Heathcliff, Heathcliff, no one should
Terrify the neighborhood
But Heathcliff just won't be undone
Playing pranks on everyone

There's a race to be on top
The competition doesn't stop
Mixing with the ladies fair
Being charming, debonaire

The gang will reign supreme
And no one can deny-y-y-y
They'll make some history
And always have an alibi-i

So join in the jubilee
The cats are great, they'll all agree
Find in each calamity
The cats' superiority

Ohhhhhhhh
Ohhhhhhhh

Heathcliff, Heathcliff, no one should
Terrify the neighborhood
But Heathcliff just won't be undone
You should realize he can win it with you!

Captain America

"When Captain America throws his mighty shield,

All those who chose to oppose his shield must yield.

If he’s led to a fight and a duel is due,

Then the red and white and the blue’ll come through

When Captain America throws his mighty shield"

Spider-Man

"Spider-man, Spider-man, does whatever a spider can.
Spins a web, any size, catches thieves just like flies.
Look Out! Here comes the Spider-man.

Is he strong? Listen bud, he’s got radioactive blood.
Can he swing from a thread? Take a look overhead.
Hey, there. There goes the Spider-man.

In the chill of night, at the scene of a crime.
Like a streak of light, he arrives just in time.

Spider-man, Spider-man, Friendly Neighborhood Spider-man.
Wealth and fame? He’s ignored. Action is his reward.
To him, life is a great big bang up,
Whenever there’s a hang up,
You’ll find the Spider-man."

Iron Man

"Tony Stark makes you feel

He’s a cool exec with a heart of steel.

As Iron Man, all jets ablaze,

He’s fighting and smiting with repulsor rays!

Amazing armor! That’s Iron Man!

A blazing power! That’s Iron Man!"

The Mighty Thor

"’Cross the Rainbow Bridge of Asgard,

Where the booming heavens roar,

You’ll behold in breathless wonder,

The God of Thunder, Mighty Thor!"

The Sub-Mariner

"Stronger than a whale,

He can swim anywhere.

He can breathe under water

And go flying through the air.

The Noble Sub-Mariner

Prince of the Deep

So, beware you deadly demons...

Lord Namor of Atlantis is the Prince of the Deep."

The Incredible Hulk

"Doc Bruce Banner,
Belted by gamma rays,
Turned into the Hulk.

Ain’t he unglamo-rays!

Wreckin’ the town
With the power of a bull,

Ain’t no monster clown
Who is as lovable.

As ever-lovin’ Hulk! HULK!! HULK!!"
