The entire Melissa Harris-Perry episode: as a child of a bi-racial union she should have been more sensitive, no matter what her opinion of Mitt Romney was or is.

My special sister adopted an abandoned child (a person of color) six years ago and while I, as a self-hater, have to accept myself conditionally, I accept that child unconditionally.

What Harris-Perry said was unforgivable - if she had said that about my niece she would have been in serious trouble - but Romney accepted her apology, so big ups to him.

I agree, Trev. That was wrong.  I personally feel Romney was too lenient in his acceptance of her apologies.  And in many ways, it's the turning of the other cheek-style of defiance that the phrase comes to embody, and it totally saps Liberals of the fight they were looking for, and no doubt it burns their shorts worse than it does the people that they attack.

However, while he accepted her apology, he made the mistake many conservatives and people in general make: they don't address their wrongdoing and they don't tell them their behavior was wrong. That's why these people are allowed to continue because no one challenges their behavior. Of course with the way Liberals blow everything up, addressingit might be giving them what they want, rather than shaming them thru more dignified behavior like Romney's.  Never an easy situation.

I believe you can modify a post when you reach 100 posts, but I might be mistaken.

I think "El Misfit" is correct, 100 posts is the magic number. Blame spammers for that restriction.

Napoleon is a good one to single out here, when he was at Waterloo, the Russians never interrupted him once!   BounceGiggle

So my hotmail was hacked a few days ago...

first I filled out the form to prove it was me with my secret security questios, I got everything right but they still said that's not enough info... so I had to call Microsoft tech line.

what really grinds my gears is the foreign tech help - they did nothing but confuse and upset me!

Only to make out their broken english every other word... I could not fix the problem.

Needless to say they locked my account and I do not have it anymore.
