The same thing happens when I look for a particular clip. All these people are recording reenactment skits of them and posting them on Youtube. Example. I was looking for a clip of a certain Christopher Walken SNL skit and there were three clips on the first page of nimrods who videotapes themselves doing the skit. Do you have ANY idea how stupid you come across?

What's really too bad is occasionally you do find somebody who has done something really good. I remember finding a clip of two guys who had Quint's Indianapolis monologue from Jaws memorized perfectly, and they did it in unison as "Duelling Quints." That was great. Or when a group gets together and does a live-action version of something like the Badger Badger Badger video. Or the various "Sweded" movies. That's funny. It puts a twist on the original. But I don't need to watch a video of somebody trying to act.

The other thing I hate is looking for a particular clip, and all I can find is people's crappy "music video" versions, or mangled versions that someone has recut to be funny. Again, a few of these turn out really well, but mostly I find myself wading through a bunch of poorly-labeled crap in search of a plain old movie clip.

^Speaking of the prez. It really grinds my gears when ABC,NBC,CBS & FOX are blocked for hours because of a press conference. Isn't this why we have Fox News?
