We're all just victims of circumstance

Joe Carnahan  has done a good job of  updating this icon of the 80's (that's my opinion at least ).  The actors do a good job of inhabiting the  characters.

It is a fun movie with a lot of over the top action.

It's really an origin movie about how they met each other and became a team, then later how they were framed and disgraced.  The rest to the movie is their effort to prove their innocence.

I really liked it. I thought they did a good job of bringing the films into modern times without losing the things that made it a fun show. They strained out most of the cheese, if you will, but still held true to the spirit of the show, especially when it came to the dynamic between the members of the A-Team itself.

It was also a lot of fun. My only gripe is that I wish they would have used more real action stunts and less CGI, although the flying tank scene turned out to be hilarious.  If you're a fan of the show you should check it out.

I liked it.  It was a really fun action movie.  The helicoptor chase at the begining was a cool sequence and I loved how they beat the bad guy by tricking him into flying into American airspace where a fighter jet shoots him down (happens at the start so no real major spoilers there).  Pretty much a well cast movie as well.  I was pleasantly pleased with how Rampage Jackson portrayed B.A.

A few predicitable plot twists are in the movie, but overall I really liked it.

Went into it as a huge fan of the show.

Was NOT disappointed.  Can't recommend it any higher.  Go see it if you can.

I've been reading that this film has flopped in the States, is that true?

You fellas seem to like it.

Yes, it is not doing well.  So far it has only brought in about $65 million in the states and it cost $110 to make,  I figure it's going to make it up in DVD sales.

There has been a lot of disappointment this summer at the box office, a lot of films have performed well below expectations, especially those with big name stars.

And let's not forget the foreign markets. Not necessarily this one, but a significant number of American films now make up over half of their box office gross overseas.
