I raise a couple of eyebrows at some of the choices as I went over what was there.  Then when I finished reading I decided that it was grossly inaccurate.  8, 4, and 1 shouldn't be there because they aren't anywhere near the level of crap that the other films on the list or even worst sequels.  There was no Son of the Mask (Which should be number one), Highlander 2: The Quickening, Transformers 2, Matrix 3, Jaws 4, Grease 2, Superman 4, Karate Kid 4, Home Alone 4... I could go on.  Anyways, the list needs to be reexamined.

Yeah, the 8 you came up with off the top of your head are a much better (worse) bunch of sequels. That list was garbage.
Crank 2 is awesome.  Boondock Saints 2? Not as good as the first one but second worst sequel ever? Puh-leeze.  Phantom Menace might be the most DISAPPOINTING Star Wars flick but frankly episodes II and III were much worse movies.  I don't think Smokin Aces 2 ought to count because the first one also completely sucked.
I'll add The Final Destination, Scary Movie 4 (what is it with 4s?) Men In Black 2 for sheer quality dropoff, Return to House on Haunted Hill (maybe that shouldn't count though b/c it was direct-to-dvd) Die Another Day and maybe Moonraker.

Funny, I've seen a few of those in the theater.  Caddyshack 2, Phantom Menace and Batman & Robin.

I think we all saw Phantom Menace in the theater  Bluesad It's the one prequel I'll defend though, mainly because of Darth Maul.

Exorcist II.
Freddy's Dead: The Final Nightmare.
Staying Alive.

Those are worthy, at least, of being "honorable mentions".

Well I've only seen a few of those movies, so I will just comment on the ones that I have seen.

Star Wars Episode 1 - It wasn't that bad of a film, but it is the weakest of the 6 films.

Godfather Part 3 -  There have been worse than that, and I liked the film.  I don't think it was a terrible film, but it still is the weakest of the three films.

Indiana Jones 4 (I'm being lazy so I am calling it this) - This wasn't that bad of a film.  I liked it better than the 2nd film.

and Qui-Gonn Jinn(sp)

When I was looking at the list there was an advertisement for "The Karate Kid" in the middle of the page. It was almost like the list itself recognized that it should have been included.

10.  Every American Pie Sequel:  I didn't even like the first one.

9.  Batman and Robin:  This one I thought was actually a pretty fun movie.

8.  Indiana Jones and the Crystal Skull:  This movie gets a lot of hate, and I can't understand why.  It's no less realistic than any of the other movies they've done.

7.  Smokin’ Aces 2: Assassins Ball:  never seen it.

6. Crank 2: High Voltage:  Wasn't even aware there was a Crank 1.

5.  Blues Brothers 2000:  Agreed.  It should have ranked higher.

4.  The Phantom Menace:  A bad movie, but probably not one of the worst top 10.  Still extremely disapointing.

3.  Cadyshack II:  One of these days I'm going to get around to seeing this.

2.  Boondock Saints II: All Saints Day:  Haven't seen it.  ... or the first one.

1.  Godfather III:  Doesn't belong on this list.

Biggest oversite?  Breakin' 2:  Electric Boogaloo The movie that forever lent it title to bad movie parodies.

Totally object to Crank II on the list. It was a total improvement over the original!
Our Bad Movie Night group will forever cherish Cranktakular-the double screening of the Chev Chelios saga.

As for the rest of the list, batman and robin was awful. Unfortunately i had to pay to watch that in a movie theater. About 20 minutes into the movie, a rainstorm knocked the power out and cut the film off. To this day it was the best applause i've heard for a movie...

It's hard to argue a list that say's 10 worst movie sequels and has Godfather 3 and Phantom Menace on the list...

Mostly agree... (those that dont agree Godfather 3 needs to watch Godfather 2... how do you go from killing your own brother for the attempted murder of your family and then overlooking the woman that killed his unborn son in part 3.)
