Over the weekend (actually during last week) my wife and I was watching Subspecies series (all four episodes) we decided to hold back on the Vampire Journals...

My feeling of the series could of been much better if we seen more of those little guys although I'm not sure their purpose at times besides looking cool, or releasing a vampire from a cage (although I though the guy can turn into a shadow)

:)

I told you, the minions are just like his personal assistants.  They take notes, fetch his slippers, answer the phone, etc.  They're not there to actually do anything really helpful.  A bunch of them quit after they had to reattach his head that one time complaining that it wasn't in their job description.

I've got the first two movies on my Netflix queue.  I saw a trailer for part 2, I think, and it looked kind of cool.

I loved that whole series.  The Nosferatu-like appearance of the main vampire, and the cool use of shadows in his comings and goings - it was one of the best things Full Moon had going in the 1990's!
