tis might be glaringly obvious, but i scored quite a few good ones off ebay for good prices. also, if you have any older movie rental places which still stock vhs that's a great place to look - the owners will usually let you purchase stuff they're tring to get rid of.

The "big three" places I always go to shop for movies are all online.  Ebay, Craigslist and Amazon.  Almost always dirt-cheap, unless something's really rare and I have to bid for it with a bunch of people.

I'm finding that ebay doesn't really have much of what im looking for when it comes to movies like this and when it does its surprisingly expensive.

I looked at craigslists frontpage once and just ran away lol

Might try amazon.

Anymore? I was hoping there would be some brilliant classic movie dvds site or something. lulz

i've found that amazon has one of the best selections of B and classic movies.  if you scroll down to the bottom of most of the reviews on this site it gives you a direct link to a few different sites to purchase i.e. amazon and movies unlimited

I've had a great experience with http://www.oldies.com/.

They are dirt cheap and have a huge collection of rare/hard to find DVD's.

Lots of titles that are discussed here can be found at "oldies".

I always look on eBay, there is many rare dvds and vhs...

For example - Yog the Space Amoeba, Matango and Prince of Space.

Edit - sorry, I see you didn't have much luck on eBay.
