"Invasion Earth: The Aliens are Here!" (1988)

Has anybody seen this?

I picked it up for £1 the other day, and its a strange number. The storyline is basic: Aliens appear in a run-down cinema, set up a string of movies to keep the audience occupied as they turn them into aliens themselves.

What got me though is the movies they show are all sections or trailers from a whole host of 50s and 60s b-movies, everything from "The Thing From Another World" to "Fiend without a Face", around 10 or so films. I'm perplexed at how such an obviously low budget movie could get the rights to show clips from all these films.

The film itself is pretty awful, but as a trailer reel of great b-movies, its a winner.
