I'll post an official thread on the movie when it hit theaters, but for now, we can dicuss the movie here.  Here's the trailers and couple of posters:

Small | Large

Small | Large

To be honest, this movie looks ridiclous, crazy, weird as hell, and possibly stupid.  However, it looks like a fun action film with a cool looking art style and I'm going to try to see it in the theaters.  Okay, the girls are hot, but it looks so insane that'll be fun.

So... your thoughts?

Seems like it's about women imagining fighting monsters and robots.  I won't pay to see it.

I'm about 50% on whether I'll see it.  I'll wait to see what the early reviewers say.  It honestly doesn't look too great to me from the trailers, but I've like the other Zach Snyder movies I've seen.

Looks like a women in prison flick crossed with Mortal Combat or something.  I'll pick it up when the DVD hits $5.  These goofy action flicks are fun sometimes.

I like the Led Zep music!  Thumbup
But I have that album....so I wont pay 10 dollars to hear it on a soundtrack.
Those girls look too pretty to be in prison. Pretty girls don't go to jail. Fact.
Except in AIP WIP movies. This ain't. No Pam Grier. No Linda Blair. No Dyanne Thorne. Or Sybil Danning.
I'd defintly watch it-if someone loans me the dvd in the future.I aint gonna rush out to see it.
Looks ok-I guess. Too much cgi,I reckon.
Im a Bad movie snob-big budget horror stuff is too shiny for me. Too glossy. I dunno.

I wasn't even thinking about seeing it until you put it that way.. now it sounds good!

It's a shame Lindsay Lohan isn't in this, it looks like it would be perfect for her - she's mental, been to jail, has big boobs, and I think she's a lesbo.

I'm not sure, but I believe it's an asylum, not prison

And I am very interested to see how exactly they will pull off a film of this calibre

When I saw the trailer for this I thought it was yet another movie made about a video game.  When I realized it wasn't, I figured maybe they made the movie to make a video game about it(?)  Otherwise I don't get it.  I will not be going to see it.  I like movies that are so bad they're good, not movies that are just bad.

I'm all in. If it even only delivers a part of what it promises( a distinct possibility) that's plenty enough for me.

It's got Emily Browning playing the lead. I haven't figured out if I find her hot or not. I only say that because that would be a factor for me with a movie of this kind.

It looked great until I was told its 'all in her head.'  Now I'm thinking it will visually look good but story wise not what I wanted...  Bluesad

I wish that they would have gone for a R rating on this one instead of PG-13, but it could be cool. I've got a feeling that it's going to rock or suck something horribly.
