Places You'd Bring Visiting Board Members In Your Area

I would make dinner for any and all visitors.  Many people claim to make great meatballs.  Few do.  I do. 

The boardwalk in Asbury Park... maybe the Paramount Theater for a concert (I saw TONY BENNETT and TOM JONES there, not long ago) they also have film festivals.  A drink at Aqua or Stella Marina (also on the boardwalk) a walk through historic Ocean Grove (just south down the boardwalk - it's also where WOODY ALLEN filmed STARDUST MEMORIES).  I understand BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN turns up routinely at the Wonderbar and jams with the house band... not being a fan, I've avoided it.  The NEW YORK DOLLS sometimes appear at The Stone Pony!!

Primarily outdoors but I'd recommend the summer (July-August-maybe September) over any other time of the year. There's fantastic scenery to be found throughout my province and it's undoubtably its best feature. I personally love the local Museums so I'd definitely recommend those. Most tourists who come here love to go on boat trips to see icebergs and/or whales but they aren't always there to be found (primarily they are around in April-June for icebergs)...there's an entertaining dinner theatre although that's a little pricey.

Philly is home to The Mutter Museum.  It is a museum, of sorts, with a huge collection of medical human oddities.  Quite the stop.

I seriously can't think of anything really cool here in Knoxville. Our whole state is pretty uninteresting. I guess i'd be better off as a visitor than a guest.

Andy, "Muddy" looks even better at night: they did a good job with the lighting.  Very effective.

I forgot about our Mudcat Festival in June: http://www.dunnvillechamberofcommerce.ca/mudcat.php - though I am not sure that it classes as an "attraction" really. It's a good old-fashioned small town celebration, several days long. The fireworks are often quite spectacular and the food events get rave reviews.  Chili cookoffs and fish (perch) fries!

I do have to say that if you are looking to experience truly gorgeous Canadian scenery, you should be sure to visit AndyC or JaseSF.  They have my area beat, hands down!

Haha Its still there, There was a restaurant that opened in 2008, but it closed really. I think there are offices in it now. Its kinda just there, and it isn't being used as wig storage like The Simpsons might lead you to believe. I went up in it once when I was a young kid, but only for a few minutes. I don't even think the public can go up in it anymore. We could try to go up in it. Its really not that exciting though. Knoxville still makes a big deal about the worlds fair like it was yesterday, so i'm kinda surprised about its condition.

Morristown is about an hour from Knoxville. We could all go to where The cabin from The Evil Dead was located. The cabins burned down but the fireplace is still there. and the cellar door. Thats a place i'm going when I'm able to go random places by myself!

They also got a malignant tumor removed from President Grover Cleveland's hard palate.  Lots of stuff.

Definitely Bonaventure Cemetary. Not only is it wonderfully creepy even in broad daylight but scenes for MIDNIGHT IN THE GARDEN OF GOOD AND EVIL and CITY OF THE DEAD were filmed there. I'm counting on an invite to visit Bonaventure will be the tipping point to get Trevor to the USA!  

I mentioned that in my COTLD review on here: that cemetery is really creepy with those vines that seem to be living and I would love to see it, Savannah and my good friend there someday.  That apart, I would also like to go on the Mercer House tour but with my luck, I would feel a cold tap on my shoulder, turn around and it would be the ghost of Jim Williams offering me something cold to drink.
