I,too,saw it in theaters back inna day. No 7th VOYAGE OF SINBAD or JASON AND THE ARGONAUTS-but it's Ray! And-sadly-his final film.  Bluesad
It's a great kid's adventure fantasy-but fun for adults too. I like it a lot.  Thumbup

I thought it was fantastic but then I first fell in love with it as a kid and I do recall it really scaring me at a few points, especially Medusa. I love the Harryhausen FX and the classic adventure tale. Great fun! They just don't make 'em like this anymore...
