I like 1970s "Commercial" European Disco music. The lyrics are usually a bit awkward (sometimes with noticeable accent) and the music is on the cheesy side no doubt. Doesn't make it Yoko Ono or Laurie Anderson (sp?) weird but still kinda odd.

as much as I do like their stuff, some of the artists posted like Neds Atomic Dustbin, Therapy?, Beck, are as far from 'weird' as you can get IMO. all got daytime radio plays back when they came out, got in the charts etc... they would fall quite easily under the banner 'alternative rock'?

I definitely think Look People are the weirdest band I like (at least of those I'm familiar with)...I don't know if everyone agrees but I think this band (NoMeansNo) is a bit strange...yet I love this song!

While they were a mainstream band and a very successful one, I'm sure some still find some of Jesus Jones music to be a bit different from the usual...I loved it!
