I'm kind of split on Argento. Deep Red is one of my top 10 films, he's done some awful stuff as well though. I agree with Jack about Suspiria. Inferno was also boring to me. Terror At The Opera kicked ass. Tenebrae had its moments. Avoid 'The Card Player' at all costs! now I hear he's directing 'Dracula 3D'...

I'm confused are we talking about "mainstream movies" or movies that are generally considered B or bad movies?

Leonard Part 6- I heard that it is the worst movie ever, but I found it to be fun to watch, found it as unintentional parody.

The Puppet Master franchise. Honestly, the only good ones were Part II and Toulon's Revenge. The rest are just forgettable bores.

Charles Band, please let this franchise die already!!

I'll second that. I don't care for any of the Puppet Master films, but they seem to have quite a cult following.

Good work.

Thanks.  Smile Thumbup

Back on topic: As much as I like the movie, I don't think that Re-Animator really deserves all the credit it gets. It's a good movie, but there are much better horror films out there.

Friday the 13th part 1- I always found it to be pretty bland, I prefer "The Burning".

The Room- WOW, nothing could have prepared me for that. Goes up there with Eraserhead and Begotten in the "Mindf**k your friends" section.

Phantasm 2- I love the Phantasm movies, I just don't see why this was banned/chastised/forbidden to come out on DVD for as long as it was; what's so bad about it?

There are some so bad they're good troma movies and then there are so bad and it's not fun to sit through troma movies Like Sgt. Kabukiman, Troma's War, Toxie 2-3, Nukem High Sequels.

But I don't know if any of these movies really have "Hype".

MGM released the first and last movie, Universal helped make and distributed  2 & 3l. They held onto the rights, it wasn't anything about the movie being bad.

made one of the worst films I've ever seen (The Red Monks)

but there's a few films by Fulci that are supposed to be really good. Lizard In A Woman's skin is one. I'm really into giallos atm so I'm thinking of getting it. Also New York Ripper which is just about to be released in an extended 'fan version' by Shameless, I'm thinking of getting that as well cause I like early 80s slashers, even bad ones. but I'm prepared for them to be rubbish.
