Random observation: KISS removed their trademark makeup and released LICK IT UP thirty years ago (!!) next month. Sounds like a good enough excuse for a HubPage to me.

Geez, I haven't posted a new HubPage in almost two months. I'm such a slacker.

Anywhoo, I've been working on this one about the forthcoming Robocop remake for a while, figured it was high time to push it out of the nest...

I'm finishing out 2013 with my 120th (!) HubPage, and it's a long overdue new installment of the "Forgotten Hard Rock Albums" series...

For my final blog entry of 2013, I attempted a musical experiment - I opened up my "Year in Review" issue of Entertainment Weekly, listened to their picks for the Top 10 Singles of 2013, and wrote my impressions of each song. Needless to say, about halfway through this process I wished I hadn't started.  TeddyR

Black Sabbath featuring Tony Iommi. I bet he was really chuffed to know he was a guest in his own band. don't think I've ever heard that album, the track In For The Kill you posted sounds pretty solid. it actually sounds quite Iron Maiden-y, especially the drums and the guitar solo (imo)

^^ Yep, "In For the Kill" is a great track, not really Sabbath sounding at all (which, of course, was the whole idea since it was supposed to be Tony's solo album)... I hadn't heard the album since it was a new release until this past week, when I came across it randomly in the five dollar bin at Best Buy. I liked it a lot better this time than I did years ago.
Thanx for checking out my ramble!

New One... WARNING TO PARENTS!!! Avoid this no-budget kids' movie at all costs.

It's only February and it's already my front runner for "Worst Movie I've Seen All Year"....

http://fatfreddyscat.hubpages.com/hub/Crappy-Kid-Movie-Alert-Beware-of-A-Talking-Cat

My kids found this craptacular on Netflix last weekend and of course wanted to watch it since we're "cat people." Total mistake! By the halfway point even they were laughing at the horrible acting, continuity errors, and other misfires. Turns out this flick was made by a guy who usually does softcore dude porn, but he makes these quickie talking-animal "family comedies" on the side. That explains a skin crawlingly awkward scene with two teenage boys who seemed like they were in an awful hurry to get shirtless and jump into the pool together. TeddyR

New one. I watched "Death Wish V: The Face of Death" the other night, which was the only "Death Wish" film I had never seen. It inspired me to do a rundown of the entire series:

I recently realized that I have a problem. I'm addicted to those cheap-O "Extended Versions" live CDs from the five-dollar bin at Walmart. Am I the only one?

"Verily, preparest thou for a most righteous kicking of ass, varlet!"

I recently picked up Dirty, But Well Dressed, the only CD release by the one-and-done hair metal band Beau Nasty... inspiring my latest "Forgotten Hard Rock Albums" entry.

Here's my newest HubPage action... I picked up a CD copy of KISS' long forgotten KILLERS compilation album (1982) last week, so I wrote a review of it... cuz that's what KISS nerds do. :D

Picked up some sweet 70s cheez rock (and one 80s classic) at the thrift store last week.

I found the so-called DISC GENIE "CD Repair Kit" at Walgreens' this past weekend and decided to give it a try on a couple of banged up discs I had laying around... I should've saved my money.
