In 1998, Paramount Studios and Touchstone Pictures went head to head that year with two movies about Earth being hit by galactic, humongous size space junk. Paramount brought out
Deep Impact and Touchstone brought
Armageddon. Both had big names involved (Steven Spielberg was executive producer for Deep Impact, while Armageddon had Michael Bay directing with Jerry Bruckheimer producing) and both had big named actors in it.
Deep Impact struck better with the critics, but the real victor was Armageddon, due to its success in the box office, winning a couple of awards and its nominations (amusingly, it was nominated for 7 Razzies and won for Worst Actor for Bruce Willis), and being far more remembered.
However, just because you are more remembered or got more money in the end doesn't mean you are the best in the public's eye. As such, I turned to my fellow friends and other members of the site, between Deep Impact and Armageddon, what was the between movie? Doesn't even matter if didn't like either two, what one do you think was the better than the other?
(Sorry, the trailers wouldn't work unless you went to the site itself)
