Ever see a movie that has one really good scene or line, but is otherwise a complete mess?

I think we've had a thread like this before, but I was reminded of one of the best examples of this:

Small | Large


Actually, Raul Julia in general is the one truly good thing about that mess of a film.  OK, I enjoy the film for its crappiness, but I think the above line is genuinely good.

This film isn't horrible, it's just another example of how the 1940's wasn't a great decade for comedies (every other genre, however...). It's just flat and empty. But I love this scene anyway. Wonderful swan song for Durbin.

Why is it every single time this song is used somewhere, it ends up resulting in brilliance?

To delve in REAL bad movies, however....

One of the most memorable, repeated, parodied, and overused lines of all time . . . from one of the sappiest, sickeningly sweet movies ever made.  Where's the inevitable remake starring Jennifer Aniston?
