Every year, I frustrate my mother because I hardly ever give her any suggestions of what to buy me for Christmas.  My sisters don't mind so much because we only spend $25 on each other.  But my parents spend much more than that on us.  This year, I sent my mother my wishlists from 2 websites:

* Cool Stuff, Inc., where I buy most of my board games
* Deep Discount.com for blu-rays - my wishlist has some great trash on it like BATTLE BEYOND THE STARS and FORBIDDEN WORLD

Other than that, I'll probably get some clothes, gift certificates, scratch tickets, cash, a bottle or two of booze and some other assorted stuff.  What's on your list?

Prison Break Season 4 and the Prison Break movie because I need them to complete my collection of the series

I also really want that Packers DVD about the Super Bowl vcitory last season, which I'm sure I'll be getting from my dad or else I would've purchased it already

I could use some more clothing

I have a laundry list of movies which I would like to own

and of course money

Nothing really frivolous for me this year.

The only truly expensive thing I asked for was an Adobe CS5 bundle, which I need to get familiar with anyway if I want a shot at getting the job I really want.

Other than that, I just asked for animal bones and Micheal's gift cards, both of which will help out with my artwork in the new year.

My wife got me a couple pairs of jeans and a couple shirts and a belt.  There's another present under the tree with my name on it that I'm guessing is shoes.

For myself I got a bunch of video games.  Amazon had some really good sales, so I picked up Deus Ex Human Revolution, Dragon Age 2, Bayonetta, Vanquish and Assassin's Creed Revelations.  For movies I got Humongous and Quantum Apocalypse.

Still plenty of shopping days left 'till Christmas too, maybe have to pick out a few more movies.   I think I've got enough games to last me 'till the end of 2012, but if they have more good stuff on sale, what's a guy supposed to do?  TeddyR

EDIT:  Oh yeah, Amazon had more sales.  Also picked up in video games:

L.A. Noire
Red Faction Armageddon
Midnight Club L.A.
Grand Theft Auto IV

Nothing special really.  I'm hoping for an AC Moore gift card. It's a craft store .  I would like to get paints and brushes to touch up some of my garden decor for next Summer. I have some flowerpots that need a splash of color and I need to touch up some my metal flowers and such.

In the way of clothes, a couple of sweaters maybe.

This!

I've actually ordered a set. It's my Christmas/birthday present to myself.

Besides, I figure in a year or so I can sell it on E-Bay for like a cajillion bucks.  TeddyR

I used to work at Michaels in the custom framing department....cool store.

As for me,well,I stopped asking for anything in particular years ago. Since our finances tend to be tight it's nice when I get a couple of things I really need. Like a new vacuum...boy,could I use that! Boring,I know, but I kinda need one.

Actually, I've surprisingly been able to find copies of those two films in several stores...Just not for a price cheaper than $30.
