Show us a favorite cover, or one that stinks.

I'm not sure what this guy is on, but that stick worries me, not to mention the zap-gun....

I love old sci-fi book covers.  I've bought several books just because the cover looked cool!  Obviousely, these haven't been high-brow literature, but they're fun.  Here's one that actually was good:

City at Worlds End

This was the first science-fiction novel I ever read, back in 1969....the cover illustration hooked me....

This was my first venture into sci-fi....although this is sort of a sci-fi/fantasy combo:

I loved the cover.

I love the title of this one.
I'm guessing it's the story of a rapist.

This one's pretty sleazy too.

Read an anthology when I was younger and thought it had the most bizarre cover art I'd ever seen.

Here's a fantastic one for WHO GOES THERE? by John W. Campbell-the story in which the film versions of the THING were based!
Great Hannes Bok art!

I love the art on the front and back of this monthly pulp....

I like the cheezy giant spider here....

Excellent on the "Who Goes There" pic.

I wonder what sci fi we'd have these days if not for the editorial judgment of John W. Campbell.  That dude launched a lot of careers.
