MICKEY ROONEY as Mr. Yunioshi in BREAKFAST AT TIFFANY'S (1961) is embarrassing.  It's a stereotypical racist impersonation.  I think he might be getting a little koo-koo in his old age, but I still love him, though I suspect he might deny any racism.  It is what it is... I could not find a clip of him from the film on YouTube, but you get a quick peek at him in this trailer at 2:17:

What famous actors had at least one really bad, embarrassing role, either their performance or the part itself?

The entire cast of Monty Python seemed strangely unenthusiastic throughout The Meaning Of Life.

In The Return of Captain Invincible, I kept getting this weird vibe that the director must've really hated Christopher Lee.

Dennis Hopper in Texas Chainsaw Massacre II

say what you like but IMO this film is a horrible mess and Hopper's "serious actor" integrity is compromised here!

Ron Jeremy's cameo in DETENTION was pretty degrading, even for a hairy, obese former porn star!

Christopher Lee has done some embarrassing films, but none as shameful as hosting this tv show; I've seen it, and it defies description.

You could fill an entire thread with mortifying Nic Cage roles.  The man is beyond shame.  TeddyR

Everyone in the cast of NORTH - which included Elijah Wood, Bruce Willis, Dan Ackroyd, Jason Alexander and Julia Louis-Dreyfus, just to name a few.

George Clooney and Laura Dern were in the epic fail GRIZZLY 2  (so was Charlie Sheen, but f*ck him)

Josh Brolin, John Malkovich, Michael Shannnon and my beloved Fassy all embarrassed themselves pretty good in JONAH HEX.

I think Mickey would probably be more embarrassed by his turn as "Joe Petto," the toymaker in "Silent Night Deadly Night Part 5"

...particularly since, as legend has it, Mickey was one of the celebrities who protested against the first "SNDN" film and had it driven out of theatres.

How'bout Hopper's "King Koopa" role in "Super Mario Brothers?"

Note: this film would also qualify as a "Most Embarrassing Role" for Bob Hoskins, John Leguizamo (which is really sayin' something, considering that he also made "The Pest"...!), Samantha Mathis, and pretty much everyone else who had the misfortune to be cast in this turkey.
