I got a feeling that Goodel asked the refs to fix the game to Steelers lose.

I traded Ryan Fitzpatrick for Alex Smith in fantasy football. Neither will be massive for fantasy numbers but Fitz just throws too many picks for my taste and Smith might be my starter as Rivers has been horrible because he has no blocking and almost no weapons.

The other games along with Tampa vs Oakland from last week have featured a 200+ yard rusher and 400+ yard passerare the following:

2010 Week 1 Colts at Texans(Peyton Manning(IND) threw for 433, Arian Foster(HOU) ran for 231, Texans won 34-24)

2009 Week 17 Chiefs at Broncos(Kyle Orton(DEN) threw for 431, Jamaal Charles(KC) ran for 259, Chiefs won 44-24)

2007 Week 2 Bengals at Browns(Carson Palmer(CIN) threw for 401, Jamal Lewis(CLE) ran for 216, Browns won 51-45)

2004 Week 12 Browns at Bengals(Kelly Holcomb(CLE) threw for 413, Rudi Johnson(CIN) ran for 202, Bengals won 58-48)

2000 Week 14 Broncos at Saints(Aaron Brooks(NO) threw for 441, Mike Anderson(DEN) ran for 251, Broncos won 38-23)

1989 Week 2 Eagles at Redskins(Randall Cunningham(PHI) threw for 447, Gerald Riggs(WSH) ran for 221, Eagles won 42-37)

Team that had the 200 yard rusher is 6-1 against the team with the 400 yard passer.

The Bills continue to find ways to lose, even if they deserved to win Sunday.  Fortunately the sched gets much easier from here on out.

'Fire Andy' is a continuous saying/chant here in Philly.

I'm assuming they'll just not renew his contract come January. Not much can be done to salvage the season for the Eagles now.

Mike Ditka suffered a stroke.

The Bears are not my team per say, but I have a lot of respect for the man and wish him well in his recovery.

Someone to keep an eye on during the Denver Broncos vs San Diego Chargers game tomorrow is linebacker D.J. Williams who will be making his season debut after serving two NFL-mandated suspensions that cost him nine games and about $4 million.

http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/8642470/dj-williams-returns-denver-broncos-53-man-roster

It'll be interesting to see if he kept himself in football shape or just in general fitness and if he'll have a big impact on the game.

I want to have hope for the Cowboys, really I do, but until we get a new owner, or the current one gives up his GM slot, I doubt they will ever get beyond the first round of the playoffs.  Jerry Jones is a complete goober.

I'm taking a few gambles this week in fantasy football. I'm starting Colin Kaepernick against the Saints over the wildly unpredictable Phillip Rivers who faces a game Ravens defense. With McCoy probably not playing Monday night I'm going with Steven Jackson in his place. However, Brandon Marshall's injury maybe the one that my undefeated team can't over come if he can't play Sunday. I'm starting Lance Moore in his spot if Marshall can't go, removing him from the flex position. In the flex position I'd be going with either Daryl Richardson or Nate Washington.
