First time poster so here goes. I have a hazy memory of a film i watched a very long time ago, I believe the year I saw the film was about 1980 to 1983 at the latest.

It was a sci-fi film as I remember there being space ships and a planet. The particular scene I remember was a naked woman being encased in semi transparent box. The box was full of needles that closed in around her and drew out blood.

Any suggestions or knowledge about this film would be appreciated.

Sounds like it could be the "laser surgery" death scene from LOGAN'S RUN, that happens to a woman in a plastic box. Here's a similar sequence from earlier in the movie:

thanks for reply. I took a further look at Logans Run, based on what I saw I don't think it's that movie .
