Pretty good as long as he was alive to run it - afterward, not so much.
Absolute monarchy is the BEST form of government - as long as you are the monarch!

oh that guy... slightly overrated imo

the 'water into wine' trick was pretty good but you know, sometimes you just want a plain old drink of water. plus I'm allergic to red wine. he doesn't really do it for me. but I respect his steez.
I love you Zombie #1, but you're not being fair.  Having been raised Catholic, some of us are like a "tribe".  We may see things differently, but we are family.  We are very free in America regarding religious choice, that any acquiescence is an act of will, not family pressure (general remark, being human any of us always have particulars) or the nature of the state.  You needn't needle because of a lack of faith.  Do not take a lack of faith as a shortcoming, either, at least in my opinion.  However, you know full well that Jesus is not "overrated".  It's an affectation.  Whether absurd, hypocritical, pathetic, all avenues should be explored regarding faith.  Save indifference.  It's a choice not to know.

In my lifeI've went from religious,to agnostic,to full blown atheist...BUT-I still respect the beliefs of others an acknowledge the fact that Jesus Christ was a great man-a good man,and one of the most influntial people who ever lived.
A god...I dont think so...no man is a god.If so-their are lotsa "Gods"...people whose influence and teachings are followed. Budda,Mohhamad,Confucious.

No disrespect meant here Indy but when you say he is most well known for his being mentioned in a single verse in the Gospel of Luke I think you're seriously overlooking his contribution to the salad world.

There was just a bit more to Him than water into wine - and he didn't do the H2O to bubbly transformation thing often.

The Bible is full of a lot of figurative speech and metaphor. Personally, I believe that the whole "water into wine" thing was a figure of speech. Take that metaphor, note that he was also a carpenter and hence, was good with his hands. Add two and two together and you come to this logical conclusion: Jesus Christ was a microbrewer.

Think about it. Even the Ancient Egyptians were brewing beer at least 9000 years ago. The process itself is still a miracle in the eyes of countless people over the millennia. Any true Son of God had to have dabbled in the Business a bit, if only to entice a few extra followers.  Cheers
