77. EMPIRE CITY 1931

The one where you shoot unwary mobsters hiding behind glass windows.

I knew there was a rational reason behind my hatred of spiders!  Hatred

78. SEA WOLF (1976)
Probably the first video arcade game I ever played.
It had an eye catching cabinet.

79. Actual Pinball machines.

We already had at least one pinball machine entry; can you think of a specific one you enjoyed?
Fill it back in as #79 when you can think of one; in the meantime I'll just move on to #80.

80. DONKEY KONG JR. (1982, Nintendo)
Good sequel to Donkey Kong with the novel twist of the hero in the first game being the villain in the next!

I don't think this was named yet:
49. CRAZY CLIMBER (1980, Nichibutsu/Taito)
Great game where you climb skyscrapers while avoiding condors, objects dropped on you, closing windows, etc.

Oh man I remember this one...I used to pay it a lot.  I remember the people throwing flower pots out the window and down at your character, and the windows shutting on your fingers, and the "Oh noooooooooooooo!!" as your guy fell to his doom. It also involved a measure of physicality as you had to work two joysticks to get your guy to the top. Good to see this one made the list!

81: CRAZY TAXI

I loved this game, especially the sit-down version. I'm glad I had my license when I first played this.  TeddyR

82: PHOENIX

I hated trying to get to that *&^%$#@ alien in the centre.  TeddyR

Phoenix was #37.
Try to find a new #82!
In the meantime:
83. SPACE WARS (1977, Cinematronics)
Not the first game of its type (spacship vs. spaceship) but it had all sorts of game variations (gravitational pulling-sun, superfast ships, etc.)
