Some of the lost films from the 1890s understandably don't have much info at IMDB although some do (as some were actually written about at the time they came out)...

I don't believe there was much information on Pool of London (1951), a film for which I believe I'm the only one to put up a user comment (I saw it and recorded it from TV a while back)...

Actually I got mixed up above. It was actually a film called Cairo Road (1950) which I was thinking about. Pool of London has far more reaction about it on IMDB.
