Anybody here use Rotten Tomatoes (or Flixster, same thing now)?

How do you guys feel about the new Flixster, I actually liked the old one way more (the one which is now the community page) because it was a real social network, and you had quizzes and games. The new one sucks big time, you can't even read the reviews of people.

I read the reviews on Rotten Tomatoes occasionally.  I think some of the critics' comments are hilarious when they hate the movies.

I met a lot of people on Flixster. You can still use it the old way, but it's become so clunky that it seems that 90% of the people have left.

I understand they wanted to integrate with RT and add some new features, but it was one of those redesign disasters where they destroyed everything people liked about the service in the first place.

Still, you can add me at http://community.flixster.com/user/366weirdmovies if you like.

thanks, I just added you.

Yes, you're right. i wasn't using flixster for quite some time, during that whole transition, and when I went back I saw everything's changed. I barely found that community page but everything there became dead and most of my friends weren't there anymore, so I went to register at rotten tomatoes and saw that my flixster account was also there. It is such a shame, the old site was beautiful, like a facebook for movie lovers,a nd they ruined it  Bluesad

anyway, if anyone wants to add me here you are:

my flixster community profile http://community.flixster.com/user/vukxfiles1
...or my rotten tomatoes profile http://www.rottentomatoes.com/user/id/945646518/ *preferably add this one since I don't know how much the community flixster page links with my RT page)

I only use 'em to throw 'em.  Wink
