1)  Enjoyably bad.  I like good movies but big budget Hollywood does not equal good IMO.  Just don't have much interest in 90% of the stuff they put out.

2)  My DVD collection is probably 80 - 90 percent low budget junk, so I guess that answers that question  BounceGiggle

3)  Hollywood's already remade just about everything, good bad or indifferent.  They s*** all over the source material and make it into their usual generic bilge.  It's pointless.  I much prefer when the Asylum makes some crummy thing that coincidentally has a title that's nearly identical to this week's blockbuster in the theaters.

I'll skip the first three questions because of it's too difficult to define "bad" and "good." But in general, however much I love bad movies, I wouldn't want to live on a diet of them alone. I consider them more as treats.

4. Don't know what BATTLE ANGEL is but I'd rather seen almost anything directed by Andy Sidaris than almost anything directed by James Cameron. It's too bad Andy's dead but maybe his son Drew could direct.
5. Ho.
6. Tarantino.

1. Depends on the movie - a lot of "good" movies don't fit my tastes so I'd probably rather watch an enjoyable bad movie.
2. I already have a collection of enjoyable bad movies? Cheers
3. The former already happens all the time. I'm not sure that the latter has yet.

4. I need to do more research here before choosing.
5. I'm a Wheedon fan so I say Wheedon, I very much had my butt kicked by Avengers.
6. No.

1. Depends on my mood.
2. I already have both :)
3. Bad movies remade into good movies.

4. Sidaris
5. Ho, Then it would just be redubed footage of the first Avengers.
6. Make them collaborate.

1.  If I'm by myself, a good movie.  If I'm with friends (and we have alcohol), enjoyably bad.
2.  My collection is pretty evenly mixed, to be honest.
3.  Neither.
4.  If there was a way to bring back 80s Cameron, I'd go with Cameron.
5.  To be honest, if I never see another superhero movie or anything involving Joss Whedon again, I'd be perfectly fine with it.

I'll skip the first three questions because of it's too difficult to define "bad" and "good."

yep, very difficult because an enjoyably bad movie is a good movie in the sense that anything "enjoyable" must = "good". on the other end of the scale loads of "good" movies are only considered good because they're proficient enough to be immune from mockery, but this doesn't mean they're "enjoyable".

so in the end there's 4 categories: bad bad movies, good bad movies, bad good movies, and good good movies

...or 5 if you include movies that are just 'average'  TeddyR

hah, well ok, without the smart-ass analysis...

1. Watch a good movie OR an enjoyably BAD movie?

much as I love enjoyably bad movies, it would have to be a genuinely good movie. it's close... but a movie that really hits you and strikes you as an amazing piece of work... you can't beat that.

2. Have a collection of good movies OR enjoyably BAD movies?

despite my answer to 1., I'd go with enjoyably bad movies just because they seem to be more re-watchable, and also better to watch with friends as previously pointed out.

3. Have good movies remade into BAD movies OR BAD movies remade into good movies?

well there's plenty of the former, so how about some bad movies remade into good movies - like a big budget, oscar-worthy remake of CHOPPING MALL directed by Coen Brothers. or something.

OK, going by what I think you meant:

1. Good
2. Good
3. Bad into good

Like I said, I love enjoyable bad movies, but like junk food they're better as an occasional treat than a steady diet.

1.  I like both, but if I'm being honest, if I have complete control, I tend to reach for an enjoyable bad one about 72% of the time (I did the math.  No, I didn't)

2.  Definitely bad on this one.  The majority of my collection is bad movies.  Not because I don't enjoy the good ones, but because the bad ones tend to be a little harder to find, so I snatch it up right away when I see it.  I have a pretty decent share of good ones, too, but they can usually be watched anywhere.

3.  Good remade into bad.  Could be a lot of fun if all good movies were remade into bad movies a la all the porn parodies out there...

4.  Andy Sidaris

5.  Joss Whedon

6.  James Nguyen (actually, he should take a first stab at directing EVERYTHING and then include his version on the blu rays of the real movies)
