Hi, I'm new here.

I've been remembering bits and pieces of a movie I saw as a child. I was a child of the 90's (born mid 80's), but I was exposed to a lot of programming from the 70's and 80's early on in my life. My parents would occasionally buy random, family friendly movies - and on occasion, they would be a little strange.

I can only remember one scene from this move, and not too well, so here goes.

This movie was live action, with probably stop motion or puppetry included. There's some sort of city in the sky, and these two kids are guests there. I think it was a boy and a girl. I remember puffy white clouds. So the part that sticks out most in my mind is that there's these two men, and they are being brought before .. the leader? She says they've already been through .. whatever it is .. and they want to go again. I don't know if they had done something wrong or not, but she agrees to let them go again. So they're ecstatic at this news.

So then they run and jump down this slide thing, and by the time they reach the other end of the slide, they are launched into the sky, but transformed into some kind of creatures .. ?

I'm sorry if it turns out this is a common movie, but I searched google for days and can't find anything. haha.

So if it sounds familiar to anyone, any information would be appreciated.

Thanks for taking the time to read this.   Smile

This sounds like it could be "Skywhales" (1983).

Thanks for the reply, but there was definitely a live-action component. I'm pretty sure all the actors were British.
