Hey NFL fans!  Post all your thoughts on the upcoming game, or on the teams in the game and/or how they came to be in the final contest.

I am so glad the Seahawks are representing the Northwest (who haven't really had major pro sports championships in forever), and get a chance to win it all in 2 weeks.  The NFC Championship game started off pretty poorly with a fumble on the first play.  But the 'Hawks, once Kaepernick finally stopped using his legs, managed to force SF into some turnovers.. especially a REALLY dumb pick by the Frisco QB right in the arms of the defender.  My mom (rabid Seattle fan) was over and we had lasagna and chicken fried steaks.  We were going nuts in the 4th quarter, screaming and yelling and causing quite the ruckus.  Great win for owner Paul Allen, whose Portland Trailblazers are also representing the Northwest quite nicely as well.  Now comes a ridiculously tough test in the Broncos.. GO HAWKS!

What are your thoughts, folks?

I officially don't have a dog in the hunt because my Cowboys have been banished from the playoffs due to owner stupidity.
That being said, I'll be rooting for Denver because Peyton Manning is simply awesome!

You sound like a supporter of our national cricket team, the Proteas, otherwise known as the Ama-Useless.  TeddyR

Yeah; they got their butts handed to them by the Giants.  Phil Simms was great.  He was 22 of 25 for 268 yards and 3 TDs.  Good Giants team back then: Bavaro, Banks, LT, Marshall, Landeta, Jim Morris, etc.  Yuck.. Neil Diamond sang the national anthem??  "Oh seeyyy can you seee-uhh..  WE KAWWMIN' TO AMERIKAWWW!!!"

I'm really looking forward to the Super Bowl. This should be a great game. All year I've thought this was going to be Denver's year.
